In the dark of a run down block of council flats. Mary, just 15 years old sits alone in her small damp room. Joseph has just left her for the night. As she gets ready for another night, a blinding light fills the room. What can only be described as a warrior shining in white stands in front of her. Time for another rant. Its Christmas time, a time of great celebration. We have all finally got bored of merry christmas, by slade, and are turning back to carols, and seeing what else the Church has to offer, for the once yearly visit.
Here is my problem. You get churches, who the rest of the year, start getting jumpy if something is refereed to that isn't in the bible. However suddenly at Christmas this goes out the window. Ask people in Churches about the donkey in the Christmas...

As some of you may know I don't get as excited about Christmas as some people. (It's most likely down to me being a miserable so and so.) However in the air of reflective practice I have been considering why this might be. Ok, ok I've been trying to justify it. So over the next few weeks expect some thoughts on it to appear here.
